Fathers day is coming up this weekend so on my own search for the perfect Fathers Day gift, I rounded up some of the best ideas I found and made this list of the top 10 fathers day gifts for dads who love to travel or just love the outdoors!

I made sure to mostly include mostly things you can buy on Amazon Prime, so if you haven’t gotten the perfect gift it isn’t too late!

  1. Gear from Parks Project

Parks Project's mission is to protect and preserve parklands for generations to come by educating, advocating, volunteering, and activating park supporters to get involved in conservation. My husband has received many Parks Project gifts over the past couple of years and every time it’s a big hit! They have everything from hats to shirts to cool calendars and more!

2. 2023 National Park Calendar

This 12-month wall calendar includes 13 full-color images of National Parks WPA posters, a history of the National Parks WPA posters, park bios, and inspirational quotes. What better way to start your day than looking at a beautiful image from one of his favorite National Parks?

3. Leather Passport Holder

Make the dad in your life feel sleek and cool with this nice passport holder! Not only does is look really nice but it also comes with RFID Travel Protection, RFID blocking wallets keep “chip” cards, personal and financial information safe from digital scans. An added bonus is that this particular passport holder comes with a 2 year warranty!

4.     AirPods

If you have a bit more budget to work with, you can’t go wrong with AirPods! Jackson got me AirPods last mothers day and at first I wasn’t sure I would use them enough to make them worth the money. Turns out, now they’re one of my favorite items! The fact that they’re noise cancelling is also mind blowing to me!

5. Patagonia Atom Sling 8 Liter Bag

This is the ultimate “dad bag”. Big enough to fit a water bottle, some snacks or whatever else he may want to bring along on his adventures but small enough to be comfortable and out of the way! Jackson has this bag and let’s be real, it’s most often filled with diapers and fruit snacks. Think old school fanny pack level of convenience with a way cooler look. Carrying diapers and fruit snacks has never looked so cool!

6. Pendleton Yakima Camp Wool Throw Blanket

Okay this may not be the best gift to travel with, but if the dad in your life loves the outdoors or the mountains, chances are high he’ll love this gift! . Camp blankets were originally used by shepherds to brave the elements of the Pacific Northwest—right where their rugged wool versions are still woven today.

7. AeroPress Go Portable Travel Coffee Press

This is the perfect Father’s Day gift for the dad who appreciates craft coffee and would love to have an option of high quality coffee while on the go! This is small enough and light enough to easily throw into a backpack or carryon while traveling! It’s even a great option while camping! My husband is a certified coffee snob and he gives the Aeropress two thumbs up.

8. Tip of the Iceberg: My 3,000-Mile Journey Around Wild Alaska, the Last Great American Frontier

If the dad in your life enjoys reading, this would be a great gift! My husband just finished this on our last anniversary trip and loved it!

 9. YETI Rambler 12 oz Bottle, Stainless Steel, Vacuum Insulated, with Hot Shot Cap

Let’s be real, dads love YETI. I mean, I kind of get it but also the depth of love for YETI also does blow my mind a little. But good news for you, it means you can’t go wrong with a new YETI rambler. There are tons of color options and he’ll feel like a super cool dad with his new YETI coffee mug.
