The Bean (Cloud Gate) in Chicago’s Millennium Park

One day Jackson and I were talking about taking a long weekend somewhere cooler that actually felt like fall and the next, we booked tickets to Chicago! A cold front hit the day we landed and we were completely unprepared. Our first stop after getting into the city was Ross to find a coat for Eliot (and me!).

It was cold and rainy for most of our trip but we had the best time running around the city for 3 days. We took public transportation, ate lots of Pizza, went to a Farmers market in Logan Square and even got last minute tickets to see a Cubs game at Wrigley Field! It was a quick weekend but so much fun. Posting these is making me ready to book our next trip to Chicago!
